Um, can someone please explain sweepstakes games for real money to me like I'm five? 😅 I feel so lost!

It all started after reading that best sweepstakes casinos forum thread here, which was super useful, but yea.... Maybe I'm not the brightest, but I signed up for this sweep coin casino (I think it was Pulsz?) and now I have "gold coins" and "sweeps coins" and I'm not sure what's what. Are they both fake money? Can I win real cash? Do I need to buy more to play?

I played a few slot games but honestly have no clue if I'm making progress or just wasting time. Is there a strategy to this or is it pure luck?
Sorry for all the questions, but I'm genuinely confused and don't want to mess up. Any advice would be super appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙏

oh, okay okkkay, so gold coins (gc) and sweeps coins (sc) are like the two types of “money” in these sweepstakes casinos. gc is 100% play money, like fake coins you use to just mess around with games for fun. you can’t cash it out or turn it into real money, no matter how much you win. it’s there so you can keep spinning, play games, and pretend you’re living the high-roller life.

sc, on the other hand, is where things get spicy. sc is the “real money adjacent” stuff. when you win using sc, you can actually redeem those winnings for real cash. you don’t buy sc directly though, because that would ruin the sweepstakes vibe. instead, when you buy gc, they throw in sc as a freebie (it’s like a “gift” to stay within the legal sweepstakes setup). you can also earn sc for free in some promotions or giveaways.

so, gc = play and vibes, sc = maybe-real-money potential. keep an eye on your sc balance if you’re trying to cash out. focus on games where you use sc if you want real winnings, but don’t forget it’s mostly luck.

Oh, interesting. I've always thought that eventually I can swap my gold coins into sweep coins little by little. So, lets say after a while I have managed to get 500.000 gold coins I can swap them to 2 sweep coins. Repeating this process then would eventually give me a change to get real prizes.

Yeah yeah 100% same, I think I saw one site advertising that something along like "swap gold coins into sweep coins" but is it then a scam site? If there are laws to prevent that, it cannot be real then right?

So what I need to do is enjoy the games with gold coins and keep an eye on these promotions and giveaways for sweep coins? Thats the only way of me getting anything out of sweeps casinos because I'm not buying those coins that for sure.

Any idea what was the name of the casino?

Yes, it's 100% a scam. They can't be legit if they promise something like that.

No idea, it was a pop up add on some weird ass site hehe. I just thought thats the normal way the casinos work in general so I didnt think it was a scam. Luckily I did not go play there so I avoided this sitaution. 😄 Good thing that I found this thread, honestly, I would have tried it at some point probably.
